Elissa Sorel- Elissa grew up in Broward County and attended the University of Florida where she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education. Elissa began teaching for Broward District Schools before transferring to the School District of Palm Beach County. During her 19 year teaching career, Elissa taught third through fifth grade. Wanting to continue to work in education, Elissa began her new role as Mentor Manager with Take Stock in Children in January of 2024. Elissa is passionate about education and making sure all students have an opportunity to shine. Elissa currently lives in Boynton Beach with her husband and two children.
